Senate Bill 1261 would restrict how many state employees could work remotely on any given day

BOISE, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) – The Senate State Affairs Committee heard a bill that would require most state employees to return to the office instead of working remotely. On Wednesday, Senator Jim Guthrie (R-McCammon) presented Senate Bill 1261, which would require state agencies, departments, and other state offices to allow only 15 percent of their staff to work remotely daily.
