Police: Meridian man arrested in Nampa after robbery, resisting arrest

A Meridian man was arrested and faces various felony charges after Nampa police say he allegedly robbed a resident at gunpoint and then resisted arrest on Interstate 84.

Jordan Lee Davis, 33, will face charges of robbery (felony), grand theft (felony), unlawful possession of a firearm (felony), resist and obstruct (misdemeanor), and eluding (felony), a news release from the Nampa Police Department said.

The release stated that on Wednesday at 11:15 a.m., a man reported to police that he was robbed at gunpoint at his Nampa residence in the 400 block of N Summerwind Drive. The man, who said he knew the suspect Davis, said that Davis took his wallet and a set of car keys, and then stole the man’s vehicle from the driveway.

The man also said that Davis, along with another man, went to the home at 4 a.m. that morning and sprayed him with pepper spray and took clothing items.

Officers were dispatched to look for the stolen vehicle, which was located eastbound on Interstate 84 between Franklin Road and Northside Boulevard, the news release stated. After Davis didn’t yield, an officer performed a pursuit intervention technique, which caused Davis’ vehicle to “spin out of control and come to a stop,” the release stated.
