It will warm up before the next front moves in

CBS2 Boise – We had a taste of autumn over the weekend. On Saturday, the high was only 69 degrees. That was almost 20 degrees cooler than normal for this time of the year. Even Sunday was about 10 degrees below normal. This was thanks to a trough of low pressure that moved through the state. However, we are still in s summer pattern and that means temperatures can warm rapidly given the high sun angle in August. As a result, a warming trend will move into the area on Monday. Look for lots of sunshine this week with highs reaching the mid 80’s on Monday. This will be followed by temperatures in the low 90’s on Tuesday! We’ll call that the warm before the next cold front that moves in on Wednesday.
