Idaho nonprofit offers vital support for families with medically fragile children

EAGLE, Idaho (CBS2 News) – Finding out your child has a chronic debilitating condition, also known as being medically fragile, is many parents’ worst nightmare. “It’s really hard because you feel isolated. You do lose friends, you lose family, when you’re taking care of a complex child because it’s a 24/7 job,”said the President and Founder of Rays for Rare, Megan Schomer. “When you can’t find a community that understands, you’re just really alone.”
