EMMETT, Idaho (CBS2) – The Emmett School District reports that a 12-year-old boy who was hit while crossing the street last week has “Shown some positive signs.” The 12-year-old identified only by the name Niel, is a student at Emmett Middle School. Niel was crossing Highway 52 and Mill Rd. on Thursday when he was struck by a car. He was then airlifted to a Boise hospital where he has remained in the ICU.
