Bryan Kohberger likely segregated from inmates: Jail expert

( NewsNation ) — University of Idaho killing suspect Bryan Kohberger will likely be segregated from inmates at the Ada County Jail , according to the president of the American Jail Association.

Shawn Laughlin told NewsNation’s “ Banfield ” on Monday that Kohberger probably won’t even see most of the prison facility, given the charges he’s facing.

Kohberger “probably believes he’s going to have a more enjoyable stay there,” Laughlin said. “But the simple fact is, given his charges and notoriety, he’s never ever gonna see most of that facility.”

Kohberger was recently transported from Moscow, Idaho, to Boise, where he will be tried on charges of killing four University of Idaho students in 2022.
