Boise School Board to hold special meeting over recent online school threats

BOISE, Idaho (CBS2) – The Boise School Board has scheduled a special meeting to address community concerns over a rise in online threats. A string of online threats targeting Idaho schools, and others across the country, have raised concerns in the community over school safety. Over the past week schools in the Treasure Valley have received multiple “unsubstantiated threats” online. Meridian Police investigated posts on social media that threatened Mountain View High School and were able to track those posts back to a student in California. Caldwell High School postponed their annual Homecoming Parade over similar concerns.
