Offense shines again in College of Idaho win over Arizona Christian

CALDWELL — The type of afternoon the Yotes had against Arizona Christian on Saturday are ones the College of Idaho faithful have become accustomed to — a blowout win with the offense putting on a show.

It was an afternoon in which the crowd could sit back, relax, and watch Andy Peters dice up yet another defense in the Frontier Conference.

There aren’t many teams the senior quarterback hasn’t excelled against. He continued his hot streak with another game with more than 300 yards passing and five touchdowns. The College of Idaho went 4 for 4 on touchdown drives in the first half to build a big lead, winning comfortably 52-27 at Simplot Stadium for a third straight win.

Peters was 25 of 32 for 355 yards with a touchdown to five different receivers. With his performance, he passed D.J. Peterson for the most career passing yards in school history. He previously set the career passing touchdown mark against Montana Tech.

Since transferring from Boise State before the 2022 season, Peters has cemented himself as the best quarterback in College of Idaho history.
