BOISE, Idaho (CBS2) – Firefighting aircraft working on the Valley Fire just east of Boise was grounded again on Sunday due to a private drone flying in the area. Flying drones in the fire area is not allowed because they pose a danger to aircraft working nearby, including any rescues that could require an airlift. Fire authorities regularly remind people not to fly their drones near a fire for this reason, especially anywhere in a marked no-fly zone.
