CANYON COUNTY, Idaho – A head-on collision Saturday morning on US Highway 20 left one person dead and another injured west of Notus, Idaho State Police (ISP) reported. The crash happened on Jan. 4 at 7:53 a.m. ISP stated a 33-year-old Parma man driving a red 2004 Toyota Prius was killed when a 22-year-old man also from Parma driving a blue 2005 Toyota Tundra tried to pass a semi-truck by going around it in the westbound lane and hit the Prius head-on at milepost 14.
