BOISE, Idaho — The 22nd annual Polar Bear Challenge, hosted by Make-A-Wish Idaho, raises funds for children with critical illnesses. Andrea Sanders, the organization’s Chief Development Officer, said the organization’s mission is to provide life-changing wishes for children with conditions like brain tumors and cancer, offering them hope and joy.
“We’re raising much-needed funds for children with critical illnesses statewide. Today, it’s been record-breaking. We’ve raised over $100,000, and it’s going to help us make over 14 wishes come true for wish kids,” Sanders said.
