BOISE, Idaho (CBS2) — According to a recent news release, the City of Boise was one of 17 applicants selected nationwide to receive funding to maintain, protect and stabilize affordable housing.
The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development awarded the city $6.7 million to increase housing stability and preserve affordability for Sage Mobile Home Park residents.
Sage Mobile Home Park, a two-acre mobile home park on the Boise Bench, was purchased by the city in 2022 to preserve affordable housing for 26 families. Preserving existing housing units is part of the city’s larger strategic efforts to address the housing needs of our community…
