BOISE, Idaho – The Wyoming Cowboys couldn’t overcome cold shooting in a 96-55 road loss to Boise State on Tuesday evening in ExtraMile Arena in Boise, Idaho.
Boise State countered the Pokes by shooting 58.5 percent and 50 first half points on their way to the win.
“Hats off to Boise State they shot the cover off the ball tonight and that was a response from a championship level team,” UW head coach Sundance Wicks said. “Saturday’s game is a must win for us and I told the team that in the locker room. I take a lot of pride in that game, and I know the state does as well. We can’t sneak up on teams anymore when you have a reputation of being a sneaky team.”…
