Snowfall, warmer temperatures expected to improve Idaho’s stagnating snowpack

Weeks of frigid temperatures and lagging precipitation are expected to be on the way out as February approaches.

Boise’s winter has been abnormal this year, with the state reporting above normal rainfall in December and snowfall not arriving until Jan. 1 — the second latest on record for the city.
