Another mostly sunny afternoon in Boise but a cold southeast wind has developed ahead of a cold front that will cross the area before dawn Friday. This cold front should bring a dusting to a half-inch of new snow to the central mountains. The valley may see some flurries Friday morning otherwise lots of clouds and brisk northwest winds! Sunshine will increase later in the day but so will the cold NW winds.
Temperatures will plummet on Saturday night, with higher valleys and basins in central Idaho potentially dipping as low as 15 below zero!
