BOISE, Idaho (CBS2) — The Idaho Humane Society welcomed dozens of pets from Los Angeles shelters for rehoming in Idaho.
Dog is My Copilot is facilitating the relocation. They aim to make space for displaced animals in Los Angeles seeking to reunite with their families.
“At the Idaho Humane Society, our mission is built on saving lives and offering second chances. Last year, we transferred nearly 1,300 animals from local rescues and shelters, allowing them to find loving homes and preventing unnecessary euthanasia,” said Kristine Schellhaas, Public Information Officer. “In light of the heartbreaking crisis in Los Angeles, we are deeply honored to extend our support and bring comfort to animals in need, knowing that every life we help makes a difference.”…
