PAYETTE, Idaho — A two-vehicle crash on I-84 sent three people to the hospital early Sunday, Jan. 26, blocking traffic for more than five hours, Idaho State Police (ISP) reported.
The collision occurred at 5:15 a.m. near milepost 13 south of New Plymouth between an 18-year-old woman from Rexburg and a 52-year-old woman from Middleton.
According to a preliminary investigation, ISP stated the 2020 Kia Soul, driven by the Rexburg woman, struck the median barrier and returned to the travel lanes, where a 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee hit it. Both vehicles overturned and came to rest on their roofs…
