‘Madman of Rock and Roll’: Idahoan and Caldwell High graduate turns rock music legend

There’s Paul Revere from the 1700s who traveled the US announcing the British were coming…And then there’s the other Paul Revere from Caldwell, Idaho – a Rock n’ Roll star.

Caldwell High School graduate Paul Revere was the organist and leader of the Raiders rock band.

“We began having sellout crowds in the Boise Valley area, and when The Wailers, a Seattle band, had a hit with “Tall Cool One,” we decided that if a Northwest band could make a hit record, why couldn’t we?” lead singer Mark Lindsay noted in a tribute after Revere passed in 2014…
