Boie council votes 3-3 on allowing liquor at events in park. McLean casts tiebreaking vote

The harder stuff will be on the menu in some of Boise’s parks for the next year. On Tuesday, Mayor Lauren McLean cast a tiebreaking vote in favor of a new ordinance allowing liquor at special events in certain Boise parks with a permit, as opposed to just beer and wine.
