Boise man receives sentence of 20-to-life for supplying lethal drug cocktail

A year after a Boise woman died of an overdose of cocaine, fentanyl, methamphetamine and a synthetic stimulant, the man convicted of supplying the drugs to her has been sentenced to 20 years to life in prison. Jeremiah Allen, 51, was found guilty in November of trafficking methamphetamine and delivering cocaine, fentanyl, methamphetamine and bath salts. He and Talia Salzano, 41, were found unresponsive at a West Fairview Avenue residence in Boise last February after consuming the drug cocktail. Salzano was subsequently pronounced dead, while Allen was hospitalized and arrested for the drug charges associated with her death. “Those looking to distribute illegal, dangerous drugs in our community should be deterred by this sentence,” Ada County Prosecutor Jan Bennetts said in a Jan. 31 press release. ” Allen will be eligible for parole in the mid-2040s…
