ADA COUNTY, Idaho — Court documents filed on Feb. 24 show that a three-person mixture of unknown DNA was found under the fingernails of one of the four victims killed near the University of Idaho campus in November 2022.
The defense team for Bryan Kohberger, the man accused of the quadruple murder, filed a motion asking the Ada County judge to exclude the DNA evidence from being presented to a jury and limit testimony related to the evidence, arguing that jurors may think the DNA is Kohberger’s when, according to the defense, it is not.
