Canyon County, ID (CBS2) — The Canyon County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) has issued a warning to residents about a phone scam that has defrauded several citizens.
Victims reported receiving calls from a number appearing to be the CCSO’s official line, (208) 454-7510, but the number is “spoofed” using software to disguise the true origin of the call.
