Boise firefighters tackle two house blazes; one pet lost, one person hospitalized

BOISE, Idaho (CBS2) — The Boise Fire Department responded to two house fires early Tuesday morning.

The first fire, which was reported just before 3:00 a.m., was located on W. Bobran Ct. BFD reports that responding firefighters found flames visible from the front of the single-story home. The homeowner told firefighters that everyone was safe and accounted for except for their dog. Firefighters worked quickly to knock down the flames and search for the dog, but unfortunately, he did not survive the fire.

One of the occupants was transported to the local hospital. BFD says the cause of the fire is under investigation…
