Western Washington Man Arrested in Lewiston with 23 Grams of Cocaine, $1,300 Cash, and Handgun After Foot Chase

LEWISTON, ID — A Washington man is facing multiple charges after law enforcement officers arrested him in connection with an ongoing drug investigation in Lewiston on March 27.

According to court documents filed in Nez Perce County, 34-year-old Deanthony J. Kimbrew of Auburn, Washington, was arrested after fleeing from officers and allegedly discarding a bag containing cocaine.

Detectives with the Quad Cities Drug Task Force were conducting surveillance on a residence in Lewiston when they observed a black 2022 Toyota Camry with Washington license plates arrive.
