A quietly percolating plan to build nearly 300 apartments on the Boise Bench took a step forward last week.
B&G Properties of Emmett submitted early application materials to the City of Boise to build 288 apartment units and 191 parking stalls at 123 Latah St., directly across from Jefferson Elementary School in January of 2024.
The project went through the city’s early application process, and in August, planners provided detailed feedback, noting the early plan did not meet a large number of requirements laid out in code, including being too tall for the zoning, not having sufficient setbacks, and other possible issues.
