LEWISTON, ID – A Clarkston man is facing felony drug trafficking charges after a traffic stop in Lewiston led to the discovery of more than 200 grams of methamphetamine hidden inside a vehicle.
According to court documents filed in Nez Perce County, 33-year-old Levi D. Linton was arrested on April 3 after officers initiated a stop on a gold 2003 Ford Windstar that failed to stop at a clearly posted sign near Highway 128 and U.S. Highway 95.
A drug detection K9 was brought to the scene and positively alerted to the presence of narcotics. Officers obtained consent to search the vehicle and the individuals inside. No contraband was found on Linton, but a passenger was found in possession of prescription pills without a valid prescription…
