NAMPA — During the grand opening of his home goods stand, 7-year-old Rilo Rangel spent much of the day staring out the window longingly. Despite the efforts to construct the wooden stand and fill it with products, no customers stopped by.
After a disappointing start for Rilo, his mother, Jennifer Menendez, posted to a Facebook group, Nampa Neighbors Help on March 22, asking people to come and support her son.
“I was just wondering if there is anyone that would come by and buy at least a cookie from him. I know it would make his day,” Menendez wrote in the post…
