Residents of two large planned communities in the Eagle foothills might be in the City of Eagle, but they will be paying a little extra for their water bills.
Last week, the Eagle City Council unanimously voted a new set of water fees for residents of the growing foothills communities of Avimor near Highway 55 and Valnova, formerly known as Spring Valley, off of Highway 16. Both of these communities have their own water systems powered by water rights they obtained in the area, but the developers turned over the infrastructure to the City of Eagle for upkeep and daily operations.
Combined, both developments plan to bring more than 15,000 homes to the foothills once they’re fully constructed…
