Southern Idaho Man Sentenced to Nearly 16 Years for Armed Carjacking and Firearm Possession

BOISE, ID – A Nampa man has been sentenced to over 15 years in federal prison following a violent carjacking incident and unlawful firearm possession.

According to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Idaho, 34-year-old Jordan L. Davis was sentenced on April 15, 2025, to 188 months in federal prison for carjacking and illegally possessing a firearm. U.S. District Judge Amanda K. Brailsford also ordered Davis to serve three years of supervised release upon completion of his sentence and to pay more than $37,000 in restitution.

Court records show that on July 31, 2024, Davis and another person entered a residence in Nampa. Davis reportedly confronted the victim in his bedroom, pointed a firearm at the victim’s head, and threatened to kill him if he didn’t comply.
