Protest in Boise for Idaho teen with autism, shot by Pocatello Police

Boise, Idaho (CBS2) – A protest took place Saturday for Victor Perez. Organizers and those in attendance say they want to standardize de-escalation training across law enforcement and add mandatory training for handling situations involving people with disabilities.

Pocatello Police shot 17-year-old Victor Perez a week ago. He died earlier this week. The Idaho teen was autistic and non-verbal and had cerebral palsy.
