House of the Little Pig is serving up Mediterranean cuisine and dry aged meats

BOISE, Idaho (CBS2 News) — A new culinary experience has arrived in Barber Valley with the opening of House of the Little Pig, a restaurant located along the Boise River Greenbelt. Chef de Cuisine Kevin Posada said the restaurant’s concept revolves around cooking with fire, using a charcoal grill as the foundation of its dishes.

“Mostly everything gets kissed by fire,” Posada said. “We wanted to bring that very primal and genuine feeling of warmth to the table.”

Posada says he moved from Hawaii to Idaho to help bring House of the Little Pig to life, working alongside the team behind The Lively in downtown Boise. The menu he’s curated is inspired by European and Mediterranean ingredients, but with a unique twist…
