IDAHO, USA — The Middleton Police Department announced it will join a statewide effort to enforce seat belt usage beginning this weekend and continuing through early June.
From May 18 to June 1, law enforcement agencies across Idaho will issue citations to unbuckled drivers and passengers while educating the public on seat belt safety.
The initiative, coordinated by the Idaho Transportation Department’s Office of Highway Safety (OHS), coincides with Memorial Day weekend and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s annual Click It or Ticket campaign.
