Drivers heading to downtown Boise should prepare for more metered parking, higher Saturday prices and increased parking enforcement starting late May.
The city has reworked and expanded its three parking zones to improve traffic flow and “optimize space usage,” according to a Monday news release.
While Sunday parking will remain free, Saturday pricing will increase to match weekday rates — from $0.50 per hour to $2 or $3 per hour in the core of the city’s downtown.
