Mother of University of Idaho student stabbed to death seeks donations to attend Kohberger’s trial

BOISE, Idaho — The mother of one of the four University of Idaho students stabbed to death in November of 2022 is asking for assistance to attend the upcoming murder trial in Boise.

Cara Kernodle, mother of victim Xana Kernodle, told KTVB over the phone she can’t afford the travel from North Idaho, lodging in Boise or taking time off work during the trial set to begin in August.
