BOISE, Idaho (CBS2) — A former Boise School District teacher has filed another lawsuit against the district.
Laura Boulton was formerly a teacher at Timberline High School. Boulton began speaking out after she said the Boise School District was failing to properly investigate reports of sexual abuse. Reports she helped students file.
Boulton planned a press conference where she intended to outline what she saw as problems within the district surrounding sexual abuse claims and how they are handled. Just prior to her planned conference, the district released a statement saying Boulton was being investigated for targeting and harassing other teachers, grooming behavior, and more. In the end, the Boise School District agreed to settle a lawsuit filed by Boulton for $400,000, and she was added to an executive-level committee called the Healthy Relationships Committee…
