Idaho nonprofit appeals for summer supplies as new law impacting people without housing goes into effect

BOISE, Idaho — With rising summer temperatures and impending state legislation set to restrict where people experiencing people without housing can shelter, a Boise-based nonprofit organization is making an urgent appeal for community donations of critical survival supplies.

CATCH, a Housing First organization serving Ada County, reports unprecedented demand for basic necessities as more individuals and families find themselves without permanent shelter heading into the hot summer months.
