Cushing Terrell purchases Boise architecture firm

A Boise architecture firm has joined with a Montana firm.

Cushing Terrell has purchased ZGA Architects, the companies announced. Terms were not disclosed.

ZGA Architects dates to 1973, when Thomas Zabala and Alan Giltzow founded the firm. They were later joined by Arthur Albanese in 1976, and the firm became Zabala Giltzow Albanese – later shortened to ZGA. Each of the men retired in the early part of the century, and today the firm is led by Steve Turney. Turney plans to retire…
