BOISE, Idaho — Vandalism has surged in Caldwell parks, and officials are looking at ways to prevent it from persisting.
Daniel McDonald, parks superintendent for the city of Caldwell, said the problems have escalated in recent weeks as more people spend time outdoors.
“It seems like since kids have gotten out for the summer, that might be contributing to it,” McDonald said. “We have had some incidents happen in broad daylight, but it does seem to happen kind of right around dusk to midnight.”…
