The Boise Police Department has turned to the public for additional information on a reported June 1 aggravated assault.
Additional witnesses and victims are being asked to step forward to assist with an investigation into a physical altercation reported to have taken place between 2 a.m. and 5 a.m. in the parking lot of Satin Dolls, located at 4348 W. State St. After responding to the area and speaking with individuals involved who remained at the scene, preliminary evidence indicates that, during the altercation, an individual pointed a handgun at several others who were involved in the fight, a BPD release said.
Initial investigation found that Kevin Ballard, 37, of Meridian, was “in possession of a firearm and under the influence of alcohol during the altercation.” Ballard was transported to a hospital for evaluation at the time and later booked into the Ada County Jail on a weapon charge for concealed carry while under the influence, a misdemeanor, the release said…
