BOISE, Idaho — The Ada County Prosecutors’ Office announced Wednesday that a Boise man is set to face over a decade behind bars for causing a dangerous crash while driving drunk.
21-year-old Shane Sperry pleaded guilty to the charge of aggravated DUI, after he caused a high-speed collision that seriously injured another driver.
The crash took place on Nov. 24, 2024, as Sperry was driving south on Cloverdale Road. He was reaching speeds up to 95 miles per hour in a 45 miles per hour zone, said a spokesperson for the Ada County Prosecutor’s Office.
