Boise Mountain Bike Festival returns with activities and advocacy

BOISE, Idaho — The Boise Mountain Bike Festival is back, offering a three-day event filled with opportunities for the Treasure Valley community. The festival kicks off at Eagle Bike Park and continues at Bogus Basin over the weekend.

“Our three pillars are celebrate, educate, and advocate,” organizers said. The festival, which began in 2019, has grown from a small gathering of three individuals without a plan to a well-organized event with established systems and processes.

Throughout the weekend, attendees can participate in various skills workshops that combine fun with a safe learning environment. “We’re doing a jump jam… there’s an airbag, people can go off of it and practice tricks,” organizers said.
