Gem County authorities urge public to avoid area amid ongoing investigation

EMMETT, Idaho — The Gem County Sheriff’s Office is requesting the public’s cooperation in avoiding the vicinity of Substation Road and Cherry Lane due to ongoing law enforcement activity.

The sheriff’s office is collaborating with local, state, and federal agencies to address a situation in the area, leading to the closure of local roads.
