Man sentenced for conspiring to kill in Boise

An Owyhee County man was sentenced on Tuesday following a conviction of conspiracy to commit first-degree murder.

Andrew Larson, a 35-year-old Marsing resident, was ordered to serve 10 years to life in prison for conspiring to kill someone in Boise late in 2023, the Ada County Prosecutor’s Office announced Tuesday. Larson pleaded not guilty to felony conspiracy in April 2024 and was convicted by a jury on April 21 of this year following a trial, online court records show.

The news release from the prosecutor’s office says Larson and a female co-conspirator drove from Marsing to Boise on Dec. 18, 2023, “in the early morning hours, to the intended victim’s home, armed with two loaded pistols and two loaded assault-style weapons.”…
