BOISE, Idaho — A dog died in a house fire Thursday afternoon in Meridian, authorities said.
The Meridian Fire Department stated it responded to a house fire on Quarrystone Way near the intersection of Ten Mile and Ustick Road. Arriving firefighters were able to rescue two animals from the home, but one died in the fire, officials said.
The fire has since been extinguished, and the residents of the home were not injured. No injuries to residents or emergency personnel were reported…
