Kohberger pleads guilty to Moscow murders

Boise, Idaho — The showing in the Ada County Courthouse on Wednesday was a solemn one. Families of the victims in the Moscow murders case clung to one another as they awaited Bryan Kohberger’s plea.

Kohberger pleaded guilty to four fcounts of first-degree murder and a count of felony burglary, all of which took place in the early hours of Nov. 13, 2022.

Three of the victims in the fatal stabbings — Kaylee Goncalves, 21, Madison Mogen, 21, and Xana Kernodle, 20 — shared a home just south of the University of Idaho campus with two surviving roommates. Ethan Chapin, 20, Kernodle’s boyfriend, had been staying the night and was also killed…
