Reactions from Idaho residents from Boise to Twin Falls and beyond have been steadily showing up on social media since news broke that a nurse involved in the 2018 murder of a Colorado mother during the Thanksgiving holiday has had her license reinstated.
The Kelsey Berreth case shocked the country seven years ago and forever linked two counties in Idaho and Colorado. When the dust settled, Berreth’s fiancé Patrick Frazee was found guilty of murdering her with a baseball bat in her home and then burning her remains. The victim was living in Teller County when she was murdered.
Frazee had an accomplice who served less than three years in jail and who helped clean up the bloody crime scene and dispose of evidence, including the victim’s cell phone. At the time of the murder, Krystal Lee Kenney was a nurse in Twin Falls County, Idaho. Kenney was questioned by police shortly after Berreth’s cellphone pinged from a tower in Gooding, Idaho.
