BOISE, Idaho — 47-year-old Jacob Nathan Miller, of Boise, was sentenced to 22 years in prison on Thursday for two counts of aggravated DUI.
Miller had struck and seriously injured two women in downtown Boise around 9:30 p.m. on June 29, 2024. Miller was driving a Volkswagen Beetle when he hit Marialinda Flores and Grace Routh while they were walking in a marked crosswalk. The women were seriously injured, but made significant recoveries.
According to court documents, Miller had fled the scene after hitting the women, striking several parked cars in the process. He later resisted officers attempting to arrest him, a news release said. Furthermore, in court documents, it states that a victim was “embedded in the windshield.”…
