BOISE, Idaho — The city of Boise is known for its trees, but also its parks. The goal is to have a park or open space within a ten-minute walk from any Boise resident’s home.
Highlighted by the ribbon of jewels, the 11-city parks along the Boise River connected by the greenbelt are all named after women in honor of their contribution to the city.
