GARDEN CITY, Idaho — For a decade, a small group of volunteers has made the same trip every evening, driving to Expo Idaho and Western Idaho Fairgrounds to feed a colony of feral cats that call the old horse racetrack stadium home.
The cats originally served as barn cats when the location operated as a horse racetrack. When the track closed, the cats remained, living in the stadium walls and finding shelter under the structure.
