Five flights canceled at BOI due to system-wide Alaska Airlines hardware issue

BOISE, Idaho — Some impacts of the Alaska Airlines issue were felt at the Boise Airport on Monday, as several flights remained grounded.

A July 20 carrier issue resulted in five flights being canceled at BOI, said an airport spokesperson.

According to the Associated Press, “Alaska Airlines led all airlines in cancellations Monday, according to FlightAware. Many of the cancellations were at the airline’s major hub of Seattle, but it also canceled flights at airports all over the country.”…
